It all started when…

Aaron became involved in music and computers at a young age. In high school, he played in a Christian Band and began learning sound. In college at Campbellsville University, he expanded his knowledge with audio, video, and lighting and got his first taste of MediaShout presentation software. From there, he went on to join Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fargo, ND as their Tech Director, which greatly expanded his audio production, video, lighting, and networking skills.

After joining Dave Ramsey’s organization, The Lampo Group, as the A/V Director for their Live Events, he had the opportunity to travel and see first hand the need for churches to have help with their Audio, Video, and Lighting without having to spend their limited resources on unneeded things.

With Dave’s support (and EntreLeadership teachings), Aaron started 1AV Guy Consulting with the spirit of serving churches no matter their size or skill level to help them be successful in the area of technology so that they could minister to their community and the world.

Over the years, Aaron has had the opportunity to learn from great mentors (Dave Ramsey, Chris LoCurto, Chris Hogan, Rachel Cruze, Jon Acuff, and many others) while building a business that focuses entirely on the church’s needs. That entrepreneurial spirit and team culture mentality not only help churches with their technology, but also team building and volunteer culture.

Now, Aaron travels all over the country, speaking at conferences and working with churches one-on-one to help them be great stewards of their resources and people for the Kingdom of God.
